Our Story

The beginning of forever

It started with a job interview. Alice walked into the room, and by the end of the day the decision was an easy one though neither of us had any idea what else we'd just found. Colleagues first, then friends, then a love we never saw coming.

After years of adventures together, Luther asked the question on a windswept beach and Alice said yes. Now we can't wait to gather everyone we love in one beautiful place to celebrate the next chapter.

We would be honoured to have you with us as we say “I do.”

A characterful 16th-century coaching inn at the foot of the Quantocks, right in the village. Cosy, quirky spaces, locally sourced food and cask ales from its own Black Bear Brewery.
